Roble Robotics is a research and development company. We explore new ways for engineering, artificial intelligence, sensing and human systems to work together, and we build the ones that hold up outside the lab.
We work on problems where a signal exists but nobody is reading it yet — in a room, in a body, in a building, in the noise after something has gone wrong. Most of that work is measurement before it is ever a product.
The name comes from the oak. Oaks are slow, structural and long-lived; they hold their shape under load and they outlast the conditions they grew in. That is the standard we set for what we build.
- Start with the signal
- We characterise what can actually be measured before we decide what to build. If the signal is not there, the product is not either.
- Build the smallest real thing
- Prototypes are made to be tested against conditions we did not choose, as early as it is honest to test them.
- Design for the worst day
- Power fails, networks drop, hands shake, light is bad. Systems are designed to keep working when the environment stops cooperating.
- Say what is proven
- We publish stage, not promise. Exploratory work is described as exploratory, and nothing here is presented as a validated clinical outcome.
